Evening Ladies and Gentlemen (and Jon) :P

Jon and I decided to head off our beaten track of small aircraft, small airport type flying and jump into a 737-800. This time I had the captains seat and Jon was steward........ahhhhhhh I mean first officer. Anyway here's a couple of pics showing off Jon's 737-800 skin........Gotta give credit where it's due............great job again Jon!!!

The skin is availible on Jon's website, Aircraft repaints New Zealand (ARNZ)

We almost had company in the form of 'Jimmy' but he had to go before we got off the tarmac. Jon and I are always keen for other flight simmers to fly with us, just lets us know if your keen.........We'd be happy to have you

Yes it is a nice paint, I see it popped up on AVSIM today.
Was amused to see the accompanying screenshot: -800 taking off from NZWN amid all those '70s aeroplanes :o wonder if anyone outside NZ picked that up?
And great to see NZ so well represented early in the life of FSX.

Here's some shots of the return leg back to Wellington. Jon flew this southbound sector to the capital. The compression may be a bit overdone again........sorry.

Just a quick note to those of you who are keen to get into joint cockpit flying. The pilot that creates the aircraft in the server must have their aircraft set to allow shared cockpit. The Pilot who intend's to join this aircraft must have their original aircraft set 'not' to allow shared cockpit........This may sound abit strange but you'll see what I'm getting at when you try it. One last thing, 'Shift+T' is the key combination you'll need to transfer control of the aircraft to the other pilot.

Cheers

Nice paintwork mate. It's a shame the country still looks so brown in FSX, as per the default was in FS9 if I recall correctly. Have they released any updated landclasses?

It was great having Jimmy with us, even if it was for a short time and was mostly me and Nik buzzing the poor guy in our choppers and making highly intelligent comments like "Nice shiny plane you got there Jimmy" :nahnah:

Lawrie don't take on so...even you would know the -800 wasn't even a gleam in its Daddy's eye when all those wondereful noisy, slow, unreliable old airliners were already in the boneyard :P

Shared cockpit is awesome. I've done it once with Jimmy, we had a real good flight, from NS-WN-PP.
