Thanks Ian. Yes - took your advice and bought the Captain Sim Herc on the one day sale (great deal it was).

I am still coming to grips with it but getting there slowly - I am usually a Real Air Spitfire and GA flyer so all these buttons are mind boggling to me. I am, using some tutorials that were pointed out to me - anyway I can just cheat and push control e.

I rushed my purchase and I downloaded the standard version by mistake :( - instead of the pro as they were the same price - I don't think I am missing much.

Cheers

Paul

I really like the 2nd shot Naki. Though the image quality of many of your shots is low - perhaps too much Jpeg compression?

Thanks guys - the 2nd shot was taken a few months ago - I have tried to improve the resolution but no luck - I lose quality when I convert my shots so they fit in with the posting requirements - any sugesstions on improving screen shots would be helpful - in saying that I feel my more recent shots are sharper - perhaps since I am constantly fiddling with FS2004 to improve the visual quality.

Cheers

What are you using to resize the pictures? There's a huge variation in the quality of results produced by different tools when resizing images...

Simply right clicking the image in Picture Tasks and resizing - what is a better way?

Software, like photoshop or summin like that, helps maintain clarity etc etc, some cheap or freeware stuff does a good job, not that your pics arent great, they are, really like the first one.

Love that top one Naki- REAL NZ Auckland is great scenery to fly around at nightime ;)

BTW, I use Arcsoft Photostudio to resize my photos (payware that came with my scanner), but you could use JASC (aka Corel) paintshop pro for example, which you can download for a free trial here: http://www.corel.com/servlet/Satellite? ... 6169693940
