Hi everyone

Last night me and Alex hoped in our jets at NZRO and flew all the way to brisbane :P

I just downloaded the posky 767-400, only one steep away from the best aircaft to ever fly!

I was I bit wroied about getting of the ground at Rotorua with all the fuel I had for the flight...

Heres the screenies I took: :D

Getting lined up with the rwy, quite tricky but I managed to keep it on the sealed turning thingy, unlike when I taxied onto the rwy lol

No trouble! I did the standard short field stuff and was off with plenty of space to spear. Time to find Alex.

Flying up past the clouds, a very nice looking aircraft

now ahead of Alex, who was far to heavy to maintain M0.70 like me :P Passing over akl at about FL200 I think from memory

What have we here! Hey is Alister in a "Raptor".

He stayed hovering around my aircraft for some time (look top right corner, you can it flying away), I took heaps of screenshots but cos of the darkness they havent showed up all that well.. It was very kool though, the pax would have enjoyed it!

After about an hour of planing and getting alinged, I let Alex in front of me then got lined up his current track and then speed up, heres as we are getting closer.

Here we are in "formation"! I love doing this is jets, far more fun than in a 172 hehe

Since I have no FMC I just set dct too the waypoint on the plan with the fs9 gps, it works fine but siomeitms I forget a waypoint is approaching lol The autopilot will just start a 180 degree turn, as it did here I had to actuly fly south back down to the CG waypoint ( I needed the extra space for descent)

Land!!!

On approach, I had less than 7fps here facing the city and proably also cuased by all of voz's fancy night lighting, looks great thow! Its as if theres cars moving on the higways... from all the moving lights.

I quite like this shot, gear down, flpas 30 and making a sharp turn for a late intercept of the locilizer.

Strangly thow my number 1 engine put itself at something like 96%n1, and I seemed to have no working flight controls, Alex had already landed and was watching this very strange aircraft actuly fly away from the rwy haha I was forced to do a go around since it wasnt untill I was to far of course that I realised my engine had gone mad! The moon looks neat in this one.

As you can see by the clock in these pics my parants weernt to happy by now (Im usualy made to turn my puter off at 10pm ) if you cant see in the pic, the clock says 1134pm :P lol

Yeahha!
comeing in a litlle high cos of the huried approach, should be smooth thow (note: I actuly had good fps on this app, now that the city is behind me!)

I finaly found Alex, this is place is alot bigger than NZRO!! Here we are all shut down. At this point I was sayin my 10th "yeah just a min" to my Dad so definatly time to get off  LOL

Sorry I havent croped or edited these, I don't have time since were leaving for hmaner soon...

I hope you enjoy these shots as much as I enjoyed flying! :D

Nice flight captures James, I bet it was nice to see the lights of the mainland after all that sea!

BTW, did you make a visual landing in the dark with that 767, why not use ILS?

Trolly. From my flying experiences with Jimmy, he usually uses ILS, but he hand-flies the approach. You can see some little glideslope markers on his panel.

Sorry it was a bit late for me to come the whole way with you, but it was fun to chase you down for a few minutes in the fighter. I flew in day light hours though!
Good shots, she certainly is a nice plane. Like your panel too!
