This month, Red Baron Entertainment are sponsoring our competition. This means that the person who wins with the best screenshot this December will receive Red Baron Entertainment's 'COOK ISLAND SCENERY' package! For more info visit www.redbarent.com Now that's an incentive for you all to enter!

--------------------
Here is our 8th monthly Screenshot Competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from FS2004 or FSX, and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot.

3) Images can be submitted from December 1st to December 31st 2006, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one.

4) On December 31st, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of there image appear in the NZFF banner as well as receiving the RedBaronEntertainment prize!

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme is 'Scary Situations' ... how you go about displaying that is up to you, be creative!

7) A new rule now that we are offering prizes, each member who enters must have made at least 5 posts on the NZFF forums before they can enter.

Let the games begin! :ph43r:

...if you were telling the truth, YES! :D
But I also vote we close the competition now, send Mike to the Cooks, and have a party with pictures of the inside of our fridges.

 I see the "Pimp Aviation Dude" is being a showoff again. Chosen a spectator place on the display line. Great shot there! But scary? Not for "the Dude"

Thinks: hmmm... could be an interesting compo to enter. (With my flying abilities - or rather disregard of them ;) )

I was testing FS9 on my computer, then when I took off from Auckland on my way to Wellington, I came across this AI craft. Then I remembered there was a screenshot comp here, so I just flew up to the craft, paused the sim, took the picture, edited, and kept flying  .

Nope, none of those missed midair collisions here, just one of those nasty weather situations that might add some exitement to your flying experience in an open cockpit

OK, time for a really scary situation, because if you aren't scared a bit, you shouldn't fly this kind of thing...

Wanake - the "Vingt et un" pair of Eagles paying a visit (a couple more screenies in the general screenie thread). [edit] After looking through my sequences again, I chose this moment as the scariest. Our wingtips were actually inside the opposite number's wing pair, and that at combined relative speed of 280 Kts.

Sweaty palms stuff and a healthy dose of scaredness...

As the old saying goes: the propeller has the function to keep the pilot cool. You won't believe it? Wait and see him starting to sweat when the engine stops running.
