B) Recently I remember hearing lots of low military choppers over Auckland in the dead of night... turns out that the RNZAF were practicing landing on skycrapers in the CBD with no lights on


And as for the Police 1 and the 1900D, It seems really odd that the 1900D was at 1500ft as this is uncontrolled airspace (everything above 2500 is controlled)... were you listening out on 124.300 (AA Approach?)?
