Sorry BM for letting this one out the bag :(

I see the same old faces have clamerred to form a "Air New Zealand" again just like they did in that other Economy based programme. Give them a few weeks and then they will give up again.

Tut tut tut.

Just joking man good on ya. Anyone know any B1900 or ATR modles for FSX so I can get started?

Yes but the thing is an ATR will stop very quickly into a 20knot headwind leaving you to taxi up into the wind to the terminal and it really does take forever to get there at 5knots :(

Guys, where am I going to get an ATR, Beech or Dash 8 for FSX to fly these routes? I've uninstalled FS2004.

Do you mean one for fs9? theres a brillinat one avalible from premier aircraft design:

www.premaircraft.com/fs24dash83dld/index.html

Just download the sounds package, panel pakage and let the page load up untill you see the link to d/l the anz one way down the page ;) It has a good VC too!

Sorry Monkeybdg I don't know of any aircraft for FSX yet (whyd you uninstall fs9!?!?)

Apologies to the CEO, but for some reason the 1900D had like 9000Kgs of fuel onboard... and my PMDG model has a maximum fuel weight of like 2300kg, so we lost a bit of fuel

this is sweet... when the FlyNET client works!! stupid thing seemed to crash on me after my 'controlled crash' into NZTG last night.

However, the website seems to have recorded my flight anyway :)

ps. am i supposed to leave the landing lights on after takeoff until I am above 1000'? I got stung (twice) 5% of my pilot rating for this <_<

pps. can we get some NZAA-NZWN flights?

NZAA- NZWN is only operated by the B733 by the real life Air NZ, but I've asked James nicely to save up for the B733 sometime soon  I've given James a pile of schedules to add to try and help him out. Not that route unfortunately as I only looked for schedules with the ATR and B190. As that was all we had in the fleet at the time.

Landing lights to my knowledge come on descending under 10000ft, and go off at 10000ft when climbing. In the crazy weather at Wellington last night I forgot to put mine on during approach until the co-pilot reminded me. Very cool! It's a good little program.

yeah... thats what happened to me during takeoff... the co-pilot piped up and bang... 5% gone :)

I was surprised it didnt get me more for my really abyssmal landing in NZTG... guess I'm lucky the client froze...

and yes, it is very cool. Really looking forward to more flying. Would just like longer sectors than NZAA-NZTG in the 1900D. I might have to learn to fly an ATR :ph43r:

ps. anyone know what the 'normal' cruise height for the 1900D on a NZAA-NZTG type flight actually is??

An even level as you are South-bound, so maybe 6000 or 8000 feet. ;)

Ill be adding lots more routes HCP, Alisters given me a massive list of anz flight so ill be adding them over the next few days (or weeks!) :D

VANZ (yup I got it renamed) is fast on its way to haveing a 733 and A320!

btw iv put the pilot income up to 20%, once we have a big fleet il put that up a bit more again.

James to save your time, just enter one flight per route (unlike the two or more per route I sent you)
Perhaps we should get a forum at the flynet site so we can ramble on there instead of further hijacking this poor topic  :)

Jolly good idea! I was concidering doing that since it took me an hour to enter half a page worth of routes.

Yes a fourm at the actuly flyNET site sounds good, this couold be come a very large thead soon, and I don't like large threads! lol

Im joining up to the fourms there rite now. Hopefully shouldnt take to long for them to accept me and ill have to figure out how to get our own fourm...

Thanks
James

Yeah right I don't believe this at all, its a game you can name your Virtual Airline what ever you want. No companies going to sue you for it lol

I'm pretty sure you can use FS9 models with FS10, well, you could in the demo - and they worked all right. ;)

Alex

Edit; Just copy the relevant gauges into the FS10 gauges folder. ;)
