Big news: This month, Carenado are sponsoring our competition. This means that the person who wins with the best screenshot will receive any Carenado product that they want for free! That's an incentive for you all!

--------------------
Here is our 7th monthly Screenshot Competition, which is free to enter for all the members of NZFF.

This month's rules are as follows:

1) The screenshot must be from FS2004 or FSX (for the first time ever), and the position of the shot must be somewhere over New Zealand territory.

2) The image size must be as close as possible to 984 pixels wide- read the uploading screenshot guide to find out how to re-size your shot.

3) Images can be submitted from November 1st to November 30th 2006, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one.

4) On November 30th, a poll will open and run for a few days to decide who has the best image, then the winner will have a cropped version of there image appear in the NZFF banner!

5) Editing is allowed, if you know how to do it. The more stunning your shots look the better!

6) This month's theme is 'Sunsets' ... how you go about displaying that is up to you, be creative!

7) A new rule now that we are offering prizes, each member who enters must have made at least 5 posts on the NZFF forums before they can enter.

Let the games begin! :ph43r:

RNZAF P3 Orion enroute to Wellington

I had an excellent IVAO flight tonight, and even got Jimmy on Wellington Approach to help guide me in. This shot is taken on the eastern side of Banks Peninsula, from approx 1500ft as we keep an eye out for shipping. From here I headed north to Kaikoura and Cape Campbell before a full stop landing at NZWN.

Thought I better use the sponsors product - 206 over Lake Rotovegas

Edit - new picture Soundsair 206 readying for a late evening flight from WGN.

Edit Again - this time 206 over the Cook Strait (sorry with the many changes in my screenshots - experimenting with sim as loaded a lot of extra stuff this month so it is work in progress)

Yet another change - the last one was rubbish - this will have to do as I am a bit time limited

nah mate plz post a shot up ,Ive been posting only helicopters since i arrived here at NZFF but ive never won a comp yet ,so its really like lotto each month i put in a pic that i edit the hell out of and hope that id get acouple of fixwing pilots to vote for me  now thats a mission im up for every month ,i really did thing that last months entry from you was wicked along with all of the rest of them ,im still learning how to edit them properly ,and i reckon you have that really down pat ,

if it wasent for the fsx water refection abit of blur and a photo texture paint job it would really look bad ,any other screenshot without the water involed would be at the same standed of fs9 in my opinion ,

more the merryer cbris
bring it on i say  >nzflag<

Yes and you can change it during the month if you come up with a better idea.
I didn't win last month because I did that :D but it was a lot of fun anyway

Heres my entry, loosely called 'get home before the storm'... This is actually Snowman, kiwiusa, and Jasfromoz's AI installed in FSX, you wouldne believe the hassle I had chasing this liddle dude around the place to get the shot I wanted.

What model Jetstream 32EP is that Matt, and where can I find that NZ repaint.

I've seen ECN quite a bit at NZAA but had no idea there was a fs version!
