Thanks - its a De Havilland Chipmunk - RAF Scheme (Rick Piper model - freeware). There is a real one like it here in Tauranga where this screenie was taken

OK, here's my entry for this month. Let me see... is it New Zealand? Yes, Wanaka - check! Is it FS9? Well, yes - check! Is it an edit? Definitely - check! Will it fit the title bar? Ah, now you might have a bit of a problem composing this, but go for it - check!

Right, my subject this month is: "Who's world are you flying in?"

Very special thanks to FlyingKiwi for his permission - I'll bet you were wondering, eh?

Notes: The "Mount Cook Moth" and the left hand background are real (real flightsim that is :P ), the yellow Tiger and the right background is a photo courtesy of kiwiFlyer. Smoke is edited in with a Gaussian blur.

Enjoy!

Oh, by the way - the scenery is from Red Baron - and you will note I managed to find exactly the same part of the terrain and the same angle at which the photo was taken from.

I have a very similar Connie picture as Mentor Man, which I planned to enter, but alas, that's too late now. So here is another old bird, a Howard 500. I guess only 2 or 3 of them have survived and are in flyable conditions today. Well, as you can see, this executive version is in mint condition. She has just departed from Milford Sound.

Would an NAC 737 count as vintage? As I think they came in the 60's :plane:

Isn't it evident?? Boeing are my favourite aircraft.

P.S. that's is my real birthday but I wish to keep my real age secret to keep you all pondering.

Hey Ian

That is some sleek Tiger Moth!

I see that Just flight have (or about to) release a Tiger Moth. Looks tempting - now if we can get Chris to paint the Just Flight Tiger Moth in the NZ schemes he has done I will be sold although the Aussim Glassair also looks good and then there is the Dornier Do 27 from Aerosoft, the Saab Safair (although no NZ connection with these) - oh dear - must lock up the credit card.

Cheers

Actually does anyone know of any screenshot/pi editors for free download

(and can you enter more that once?)
By putting these screenies in here are we entering the competition?

3) Images can be submitted from October 3rd to October 31st 2006, with only one entry per member. You can change your submission if you want, just delete the old one and replace it with a new one.

As for screenie editors- I use Arcsoft Photostudio (which came with my Cannon scanner) and Adobe Photoshop CS. Both are payware.

I belive you can get a free trial of Jasc Paint Shop somewhere, but you will need to :google: that.
