Simflight awards....

A place to converse about the general aspects of flight simulation in New Zealand

Postby toprob » Tue Oct 03, 2006 6:21 pm

2006 Simflight Awards are now open for voting, some nice stuff to vote for, including Tauranga:)
Oops, almost missed the fact that Christian gets a nomination, too for his Mountains of Victoria, luckily in a different category...
Good onya, Christian.

Thanks Robin.

How the Vic mesh got nominated and the NZ stuff not is beyond me...

Anyway, you just got a vote for your Tauranga scenery ;)

Cheers,

Thanks for the votes guys!

Ian: Better late than never. Albury is just out of the mesh coverage (not many hills there anywhere). This shot is taken just south of Albury down the Kiewa Valley. As you get closer to the mountains the mesh becomes of course more rugged. Also, the upcoming topo includes the Murray river, and yes it's as detailed as the Kiewa river shown in the shot below.

Cheers,
Christian

Thanks for all who voted, Real New Zealand Tauranga came in third in category, which I've pretty chuffed about.

Mmph still think Rotorua is nicer...
Next time give us a bit more warning so the troops can muster for the vote, right?
Congratulations, you are on the way to great things.
