Low and Slow for me too. Mostly Turboprops and Piston Props. The occasional flight in an NAC Boeing 737-200 if I'm pushed for time.
Gokanru,........... Now thats what i call a REAL aeroplane !!! Nice pic. I have 24 different paints for the FS9 default DC-3, but am very sad to say, an NAC paint is not among them. :( :( Have never found one. I envy you.

The "SPANZ" DC-3 with the large "Viewmaster" windows. WOuld love that one as well. Sorry Gokanru, cant help you with that one. What is the NAC model in your pic ?? It doesnt look like the default one, or is it ?? I tried an FS2002 NAC DC-3 a while ago, but the animations wouldnt work in FS2004 (props, landing gear etc).
Would really love an NAC DC-3 for FS2004, its the ONLY aircraft i need to complete my historical fleet of NAC aircraft.

That DC3 with the NAC textures,is not a default aircraft in flight sim.It is actually the model done by Jan Visser repaint by Mark Beaumont. It also uses the panel done by MAAM.I flew her when she was with Fieldair, as a Topdresser, many years ago, hence my love for this aircraft.I forget what site I downloaded her from but she is a model for 2002,She does not do well in 2004,but in 2002 she is right at home. She does have a way with her,but she is a reeeeaaaal lady.if you want her textures try the various sites, like avsim, flightsim, etc ,File name: DC3NZNAC.ZIP,she also has a stable mate in the SPANZ with the viewmaster windows, mite just have a look for her also

Here you are snowman, another DC3 from 2002 is this what you were looking for.I still keep 2002 flightsim installed on my computer because I can fly these old girls in their oringal colours.
This is the default DC3 from 2004 but I have a modified aircraft config file to make it more like the real thing

Gudday gokanru.
Yep !! Thats what im talking about !!. Unfortunately i fell in Love with FS2004 so much in November 2003, that i gave away my FS2002. I have tried the NAC DC-3 in FS2004, but sadly, its not a happy chappy in 2004. I REALLY wish someone would consider repaints of the Defaullt DC3 in NAC and SPANZ colours. I dont own the MaamSim Payware DC3/C47,(theres an NAC paint for that), thats why i look for paints for the default DC3. Oh well, keep on wishing and hoping that some repainter might take pity on some of us and do repaints for the default DC3.

hi Lawrie,

The aircraft that I use are ones done by Jan Visser and I think the repaints are done by Mark Beaumont. The only thing MAAM that I use are the panels,Up to date I haven't seen any repaints for the 2004 DC3 in NAC or SPANZ colours.like you, I continue to look ,and If I do find some I will let you know.I have seen an aircraft for pionair and there is an updated config file for the default DC3 in 2004,that is a lot more realistic in its flight performance.

Yep, the Visser/Beaumont DC3s were the ones i tried in 2004. Pity they are not happy in it, they are nice jobs. Yes, i have the Pionair DC3, and the NZ Warbirds one, along with others from Australia in Ansett, and Qantas colours, and others from all over the world, including Delta Air's famous Ship number 41. Incredibly beautiful paint job on that one.
