Thank You all for the comments guys ;)

K5054NZ, the schemes that come with the Carenado Mentor are 'Metallic' and 'Navy' colours.

I am using the Navy scheme :)

Sure is a cool aeroplane. Anyone know about its performance in terms of airspeed, VNE, approach speed etc?

Also I read that the VC gauges are quite choppy, do you find that Mentorman?

old topic i notice! haven't flown online with the guy for ages!

from my recollection he mentioned the gauges being a bit choppy - but...the explanation:

- the maximum refreshes per second a standard VC gauge can achieve in FS2004 is 18. Every virtual cockpit surface with gauges halves this. so two areas would be 9RPS and 3 , 6RPS. aircraft with 1 area such as the default DC3 have quite fine gauge movement.

anyway, i think both I and MentorMan prefer the Saab Safir from sibwings - similar cruise speed and idea. www.sibwings.com

Thanks for the reply hinch. I was thinkin about getting the Mentor but the gauge thing puts me off, I'm a true-blue VC flyer.

Haha and yeah I realise it was an old topic, Ive been known to do a bit of digging up
