Great to see so many replies.Assymetric thrust is mainly good when taxiing but good for practising emergency situations.Remember that DC10 in the USA that lost all control to the tail and elevators too I think and landed very heavy, only killed about half the passengers, plane split in three sure but an excellent effort nonetheless.Balancing the throttles was the only means of control,I think he had ailerons but no tail rudder which I understand are quite important on big jets! Also with a crosswind on a flight it is fun to set the power right instead of trimming the rudder(less drag). It is early days for me having a throttle quadrant, they're not cheap either but I'm trying to" keep it extra real dude".Love the talk about the video cards. The 6600GT is that the $1500 odd one? Is it better than the ATI X1900 PCIe?.AGP cards will be cheap soon as everything goes to PCIe.Of course you need a PCIe mobo which my next rig will. The ATI X850 get quoted alot,It is obviously a value for money thing.I know if I was looking at spending $1500 I would be looking at a projector, but theres pro's and cons there too.We will find fault with what ever we buy,I find fault with spending $140/hr at the Aero club,my sim isn't that real but running costs are within my buget! I really like second hand stuff off trade me that is one back from the latest, best, fastest around at the time.Value for money is paramount for me so I say any card is a great card if you can get it for a great price.I really don't know yet if I like Nvidea or ATI,I do know I like Chevs,Holdens,AMD's, and Les Paul guitars.
2 wrongs don't make a right but 2 Wrights made an aeroplane!

My original intent was to build a Hornet pit with that F-15E throttle but since FOs got an F-15E I'll do one of those instead. One thing about the split throttle is you can use them in lockon heres some test pics. BTW the Mig29 and SU33 handle quite good using the split throttle in High alpha, you can use it to change direction which is cool.
