C-17 and a French C-130-J 30, NZCH

Spotted by Jono last Sunday.

The C-17's are regular visitors here at this time of year, but this one is odd.
No unit markings at all, and no base tail band and serial number.

The French 130 is a rare sight down here.

Good work Jono

Easy! A gift from a Gulf State, on permanent loan

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Cool photos

Two questions:

What airline is that white nose and white tail plane?

What is French C-130 doing at NZCH??? Repairs or periodic maintenance during break from service in Tahiti?

Regards,

Aharon

Thanks for looking.
Aharon, the Boeing is ZK-PAT, a 737-400 operated by Parcel Air.
