Welcome all you young fellows to the transformation into the world of old codgers every one will find it different with all the aches and pains that come with it.
For me I took omega 3 fish oil for the last 20 years which I found helped keep a lot of the aches and pains at bay, but now my throat has shrunk or the fish oil capsules have got larger and I can no longer swallow them so a lot of the aches and pain have returned and it is just a matter of get used to it mate its part of being an old codger.
Two years ago I had a mild heart attack and finished up in hospital for 3 days and now I'm on 5 different pills a day to be taken for the rest of my life.
Three days ago I developed a slight tightness pain in my chest every time I breathed in and after a night of no sleep and the pain getting worse as the early hours ticked away it got to the stage where I called the ambulance at 6.30am and they carted me off to hospital but as luck would have it it turned out to be a chest infection and I was sent home again after lunch all good again now.
One of my biggest problems I face now is it takes me about an hour to have a meal very slow eating and careful swallowing.
Another one of the problems my old body does not agree with my mind in the morning my mind keeps telling me it's time to get out of bed and my body keeps telling me its nice warm and cozy so why the hell get up, then when I do get up I usually have my brunch then it is about 50 meters out to the mail box and back and I am buggered got to sit down and rest.
At the moment I am living on my own and have to space my daily chores out so I don't over do it as I have very little energy and get puffed out just thinking about doing something.
Welcome to old age.

Here's a quick followup to my incident last Wednesday.
After a marathon with the doctor this morning, including having my right hand x-rayed, seems that I may possibly have two or three hairline fractures in my middle finger, the next one and my little finger.
She's also getting me an appointment at the concussion clinic.
Key point I've taken away from all this is...I can't fly without wings
But, as the expression goes, any "landing " you can walk away from is a good one :D

..and Me?
My body keeps telling me that I am now 91+ years old and no longer able to do all sorts of stuff when I was a 60-year-old youngster!
I get out and about around the house, but I'm no longer able to get to and from the shops like I used to on my trusty Motorcycle.
I recently renewed my Driving Licence (every 3 years) for my motorcycle riding. Still, after 75 years of motorcycle joy, I have finally decided to put my "Daisy" (1996 Honda CMX250C Rebel) to rest in my garage! She is far too heavy to manage now, and I wouldn't be safe on her!
This means that I have to get other folks to do my (Sainsbury's) shopping for me to enable me to prepare and cook all my tasty dinners every day!
Cooking meals has been one of my many hobbies to keep myself occupied...and in good health..."Home Cooking" is the answer, weighing in at 9 Stone 10 Pounds in Old Money!
My main problem now is maintaining my balance to prevent falling over...Gravity takes preference now...I blame it on "confusion" in my Semicircular Canals in my ear 'oles, accompanied by my deafness...Pardon?
Otherwise, I feel in good health with a few creaky joints, mostly my shoulders!
Taking loads of tablets every day for all sorts of things that I have long forgotten I have!
...and did I mention my memory?
I have to write things down on bits of paper so that I don't forget stuff.....
...and then I forget where I put the paper... ...!
But, all in all, I am a Happy Bunny with a big smile and a joke!..... ....
...and having fun exploring the World from the air (mostly California, Nevada, Utah, New Mexico, and Arizona) at 1,000+ Feet AGL, where it's warmer most of the time, every day... with my MSFS 2020 Flight Sim(s)....(1996-2025).... ....!

Must keep going...got lots more folks to annoy before I finally Pop my Clogs.... ... ... ...!

Take care, all... ... ...!

Paul...In England...the Land of the Ancient Britons and Anglo-Saxons....and a few annoying foreigners... :D ... :D ...!
