nzff.org forum post fixes for YouTube videos

Hey all. Some of you may have noticed YouTube videos have had a habit of sometimes appearing, sometimes not (where they would appear as a blank grey box) after being embedded into forum posts here at NZFF. Turns out we hadn't properly setup the server to force requests to the secure HTTPS address which meant the browser would throw it's toys when it saw a mix of secure and non-secure things on display.

Have fixed this by doing two things...

• setting up a redirect so you should now NEVER see the "insecure" site warning in the browser address bar.
• editing a few of our site templates to make sure there are no static links to HTTP things

Let me know in this post maybe if you notice any related weirdness, for now tho videos should be all good.
