It's still Winter Time here, in the Land of the Ancient Britons...(and Anglo-Saxons)...

But that doesn't prevent me from riding my trusty motorcycle steed, almost every day...(when it's not raining!).
They are mostly short local trips at the moment, as I wait for the weather to get warmer before I venture into longer journeys...
So, to keep you all up-to-date, here are my recent ventures as I forage for lots of good things to eat and drink...

A big day today for me, 2nd March 2023, as I celebrate my 89th Birthday with yet another massive home-prepared and cooked Dinner with a glass (or three) of Pale Cream Sherry!
I'm still riding my trusty motorcycle every day (weather permitting) to keep me in a happy 2-wheeled mood...(73+ years now!)!

Hello, my Motorcycle and Aviation Chums!
It's Mid-Summer here, 21st June, in the land of the English, which means Sunshine and Warmth, the two requirements for Motorcycling, and my 89-year-old bones!.... ....!
Lots of shopping trips on my bike, followed by lots of cooking in my kitchen, on my trusty gas stove, for lots of good things to eat!
Now that the warmer weather has arrived, I am now able to travel further abroad, to enjoy my local countryside..... ...!

Hello, all my Chums!
Christmas is getting very near now, and we are in the depths of Winter!
Temperatures are in the high 40s F at mid-day, at the moment
No nasty snow and ice, so far, so I am still able to get out and about on my trusty motorcycle most days!
Shopping has to be done to get lots of good stuff to prepare, cook, and eat. with a little tipple of something nice to drink!
Wednesday, 13th December journey to Mr Sainsbury's Food Emporioum, with a walk round his store to look at all the good things on offer!...>>>
I did my shopping and packed all the goodies in my Backpack ready for the journey back home again...
...to fire up my trusty Gas Cooker for another tasty meal...
...and a little drop of something nice to drink during the process!.... ...!

Although we have been amid Winter Weather, I still perform my daily motorcycle rides to the local Supermarket and back every day for good things to cook and eat!
I have finally recovered from my 90th Birthday on the 2nd March and my rides continue to occupy my mind...when it's not raining!!

The weather for the past few days has been approaching the 80s Fahrenheit, (none of the fancy "Centigrade" stuff!)....after a very wet early June...!

...Fahrenheit was wot we wuz taught in school in the 1940s...
...together with; Feet and Inches, Pounds and Ounces, Pints and Gallons, and Miles.
All proper stuff until the French took over and tried to convert me to; "Metric Stuff"....

In my case, they never succeeded!.... ... ...!

One of the reasons why I always enjoy conversing with my USA Chums in North America!.... ...!

They took the; "English" Language over with them, so we both know what we are talking about!...!... ...!
