Off to the museum, and apologies.

Heading out to Air Force museum on Sunday, and hopefully get you some shots of the recent P-3 arrival.
Sorry for not being around much lately, but work is just manic at the moment. Trying to help manage a very expensive Ministry of education painting project.
I've found that no matter what you plan...it will go wrong. We have had "no shows" , departures for personal reasons, sickness, etc. etc.
If you can paint...contact me, this job will be pushed out until the next term break...which will impact on jobs "planned" for that period....and on and on....

Nice one Marty, have seen a few cool pics in various places of the fuselage being moved on a truck, looks like quite the final adventure for the old girl. My bro was just at the museum early in the week w his family and took loads of wee snapchat videos of the displays, was just like being there.

PS sux re the HR issues ... do people just not WANT the work or is there too much of it going on for the available workforce?

Sounds like a typical government effort - too many chiefs who think saying "Paint this school" is enough to make it all happen. Plan-Staff-Supply-Train-Execute-Monitor is just basic management.

Sorry for the delay gents.....staffing is the main problem. We are stretched between Auckland and Queenstown...same contract.
Have some contractors involved now, but they , sadly, aren't reliable....I had 4 working on Friday, and this morning 2 turned up.
Long story short, those above me have managed to convince the Ministry to extend the job into the next break. I worked 60 hours last week...I'm stuffed.

I could go on but I wont ...Mike "Plan-Staff-Supply-Train-Execute-Monitor " 100% correct, Ill give you my upline managers details
