FS2004 Christian Stocks 20m mesh

Postby Pete1800ftmin » Tue May 03, 2022 7:42 am

Hi there...I have been playing around with FS2004 again, and I was wondering if I am still able to get my hands on Christian Stocks 20m mesh?. I have the 75m mesh but I am installing 'Snowmans' old sceneries and the read me (for Nelson scenery at least) is saying it is created for the CS20m mesh, so would dearly love to get my hands on it somehow. I have noticed that in 'Snowmans' Nelson airport scenery for 2004, the runway is slightly elevated above the ground, and wondered if this might be because I don't have the mesh. All 'Snowmans' other airport sceneries are perfect though so perhaps I'm missing a flatten or exclude file?
Anyway just reaching out.
If I'm going to track the mesh down, then its surely going to be here.
I will of course be willing to pay for it.
Kind regards Peter

Doug .... by any chance do you you know if you above-linked compilation includes Christian STOCK's/The Red Braron's "Mountains of New Zealand" and "Lakes and Rivers of New Zealand" components ?

These other 2 components were originally available for the 20M mesh, but, only procurable as separate components .... and were formerly payware but which might have gone to freeware license by now (?)

Just "CURIOUS" if you (or anyone else) know for certain.

FYI also .... there is a freeware Hauraki Gulf "details" scenery addition for the 20M mesh copiled by Godfrey TIER .... and only available from AVSIM.COM (AFAIK) as follows ....

Category: Flight Simulator 2004 - Scenery
Hauraki Gulf, V6

File Description:
This replaces all my previous Pakatoa Island and Hauraki Gulf sceneries. You must have Christian Stock's NZ mesh in the form of "Mountains of New Zealand" and topo in the form of "Lakes and Rivers of New Zealand" (payware).

New additions...PAKIHI ISLAND: Small jetty and nearby buildings. TAKANGAROA ISLAND: House on Island. House & Jetty island north of Takangaroa Island. MOTUREKAREKA ISLAND: Wreck of the Rewa. PONUI ISLAND: Chamberlain's Bay Airstrip. Chamberlain's Donkey Farm. Third Bay Airstrip. Motunau Bay Jetty. KARAMURAMU ISLAND: Jetty and quarry. ROTOROA ISLAND: Rotoroa Jetty. MOTUIHE ISLAND: Motuihe Wharf.

The above "V6" release was the last Hauraki Gulf update .... AFAIK.

I don't think anything later was released or lost as a result of the AVSIM hack.

No it has the 20mesh and the NZ topo it also contains landclass, waterclass, and season files. Also included are all new glacier shapes.
I don't think I have the The Red Braron's "Mountains of New Zealand" and "Lakes and Rivers of New Zealand"
I will do a search and see if I can find it also I may be able to ask Christian if it is still available
