Once flew a Tecnam from the right seat from Matamata to Te Kowhai, and you are right, is a nice aircraft.
I've just 'converted' to a taildragger (a Karatoo) - there's a whole new experience.
I may yet get rated in the Tecnam through Canterbury Recreational Aero Club (CRAC) but right now after 6 years away I need to build time and confidence.
I do have a soft-spot for low-wing aircraft, but alas I'm not sure there are any in the ML category operating out to Rangiora for hire

There's some beautiful, solid aerial photography Paul.
You could reach out and touch the Mount, very crisp.

My G.E. mashup thinks the altitude for that shot would have been 360m.
Out of curiosity, can you remember what it was as you flew?
