Yes, the website states 'Compatible with ORBX NZSI', and as it is photoscenery, it will work alongside Godzone.

Hi,

http://nzscenrey.nz is not found on my machine. Is there an error in the link or on my side?

Thanks and kind regards, Michael

Thanks for the quick reply. :)

Looks really nice, but again ends up as a patchwork between ORBX and Photo. It's not only the boundaries but I always feel flying from one world into another one. If Robin ever can complete an all photo scenery for AeroflyFS2, I would jump train immediately. I would even try to contribute a few FSCloudPort airports. While they're not exactly Godzone quality :wink2: they would make a start.

Kind regards, Michael

I tried the Canterbury scenery (since I am based in ChCh) but found bright green trees that looked like the landscape had alien measles!
I didn't manage to find time to work out why, but it was very distracting and of course not representative of real life.
I certainly didn't see trees like that in the screenshots of the scenery so could be some oddball thing with my system I guess.
Right now though, it is either disabled, or I removed it (cannot recall which).
Keen to see if others see the same issue and can report back here ... or not, for a comparative data point.

Jeff, I think you are new to Prepar3d v4? Do you mean autogen trees here?
Normally when anyone mentions bright trees in Prepar3d, I think of Speedtree as the culprit -- do you have speedtrees active (Options|World|"Dynamic 3D autogen vegetation")? If so, try turning them off. Speedtrees have improved a bit in 4.3, but can still be a bit jarring for those who normally see only Orbx and other custom trees.

Dunno about speed trees Rob; heard of 'em but I don't think I've looked for them in any interface or menu. I'll look tonight after work maybe, but I'd offer that if enabled is the default then it is entirely possible. I have actually flown a few more times recently so slowly getting some enthusiasm back...
Thanks for that response, I'll check it out. Looking forward to flying into your ChCh when you get it sorted; was looking good last time you shared.

In that case, I'd put my money on this being the issue....

A bit of speculation, not entirely related to anything here...
Speaking of Speedtree, they do currently include a 'normal' map, and there is some suggestion that this isn't used at the moment, so maybe with Prepar3d 4.4, which is expected to support PBR rendering, maybe our speedtrees will finally look as nice as they do in other applications...
I still think that autogen is in dire need of an overhaul, so hopefully a PBR upgrade to buildings will follow at some stage.

Looks good , makes the trip to Queenstown and Dunedin a bit more enjoyable. could be a bit darker though.
