Easter and Hot Air balloons

Happy Easter everyone,

It was good to see some good weather for Good Friday, but not flash for Saturday for many parts of the country, But least Sunday looks good. Starting Thursday Morning the Hot Air balloons
took to the air for the Wairarapa balloon festival. Then the week before the balloons were in Hamilton.

Attending this year are a couple of special shapes, Iwi the Kiwi flown by Rick Walczak, Ironic a NZ balloon and the balloon lives in Santiago, Chile.

Bud E Beaver flown by Colin Graham from the USA
Rac Van which looks like a Ford Transit flown by Graham Church from the UK.

Really cool event

Monday Morning weather kept the balloons on the ground. Also serve turbulence in the area over the lower north Island. Now the event travels to Alexandra.
