FlyJSim 737-200 Xplane - VOR troubles

Postby ZKPDW » Thu May 04, 2017 11:01 pm

Hi, sorry not sure if this is the correct place to ask this question.

I have started flying the FlyJsim 737-200 around NZ in X-plane 11.( Just love the old school navigation being IFR rated in the real with only VOR NDB and ILS , no GPS, is the main reason I don't particularly like FMC flying )

I Have noticed for the first 5mins or so the flight the VORs and NDB's behave normally, then all they just stop working. the Flags drop on the HSI and ADF needles return to the horizontal, never to receive a signal again. However the DME continues to work.

any one know if im doing something wrong or is this an annoying bug??

Thanks

Hey Ian thanks , I still use all my En route Charts and AIP books, also i have found aip.net.nz and Skyvector quite useful- Though its all RNAV now for the SIDS and STARS which gets annoying, If you have a source of old SIDS and Stars would be great :D

The issue I'm having seems to be with the aircraft as i have no issues otherwise. here's hoping and Xplane user is out there can give me some pointers
