The trouble with hedges, Doug, is that they need to be trimmed every 5 minutes or so!... ...(Tell me about it!).

That takes a lot of electricity or gas to run the hedge trimmers, and lot of money to pay the blokes to trim the hedge..... ...!

A far cheaper idea, (I reckon), is to toast all the ne'er-do-wells* clogging up all the prisons, cremate them, and use their ashes to make cinder-blocks to build the Great Wall of Mexico.... ...!

Empty the prisons and build a wall!

Kill lots of birds with one stone/cinder-block!.... ...!

Paul.....full of good ideas.... :P ...!

He wouldn't have to worry about trimming it the Mexicans would do that for him and to stop them make it a barberry hedge they don't grow that high and the thorns would keep everyone out :@

...... ....!

To right, Ian!

All of a sudden (suddenly), folks are waking up to all the problems that I see in the day-to-day news in America.

Nothing has been done before to clear up the problems, and the USA has been slowly going down the Pan!

I see so many problems there...building up over the centuries.....to list them all!

Everyone there is polarised on their particular subject/moan, so hopefully Donnie will pull the chain and flush all the problems away, and start with a clean toilet!

They certainly need a new Toilet!

Paul.... B-) ...!

Sunny outside....but too cold for a nice Bike ride!... :( ....!

..... ... ... ...!

I do admire the Hoggers tho'....

...there is a lot of comradery amongst them, and they have loads of fun...touring at sensible speeds!

Much more than any other Biker group I can think of!

I used to hate Harley Davidsons with a vengeance years ago, 'cos they reminded me of the stupidity of George W Bush, and the worst of some Americans...

...but since I have studied their history, and their engine types and design, I have now got to appreciate and admire them, and all the folks who enjoying riding them!

Unfortunately, they are far too expensive for me now!

I must just enjoy riding my light-weight Honda Cruiser Twin!

Paul.... :D ...!

You find your cheaper looks the part type still turns heads .. one time I was coming into a 'Y' intersection hundred of bikes coming in from the west along Yaldhurst rd .. the share rumble was a "What the hell is that " then the first appeared , weren't Harley's .. all Triumphs and Norton's , mass biker gang head to venue on the other side off the city.

Ta, Ian....

They are very nice.....

...but too fast for me nowadays....

I might get carried away and total myself!........!

After 66 years of lighting up the roads on my various Brit and Jap machines since 1950, comfy cruisin' is the way to go for now.

I need to be sat closer to the ground now (26 inches),...so its not so far for me to fall!... ....!

I'm far too weak to lug heavy and unwieldy Bikes around now...my lovely 1995 Honda CB500RR Twin, sits inside the house...sulking now... :( ....!

...while my 1985/1996 Honda CMX 250C Rebel beckons me for a ride! ...!

All I need now is SUMMER SUNSHINE!...... :groupwave:....!

Paul.... :D ....!

P.S. Breaking news: My latest You Tube Video coming up shortly!

Hello Chums... :D ....!

My latest escapade.....

Taking advantage of a warm? day in Mid February to take a short detour trip around the local countryside en-route to Sainsbury's to do some shopping!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0vyTi9w83CI&t=131s

A very pleasant trip, because the next day the weather went back to normal again...Cold, wet, dull, and miserable...!

Paul....More stuff to come...when the weather gets warmer!... :D ...!

P.S...don't forget to; "Like"...and; "Subscribe".... ...!

Ta, Ian....!

I'll tell you what, its a nightmare riding with no working Speedometer, especially in speed limit areas, where there may be Speed Cameras or Cops around!

I always stick rigidly to speed limits, wherever they are....

...too easy to get a speeding ticket and points on your Licence!

I have a clean Driving/Riding Licence for 67 years now, and I'm very proud of it, and I don't want to spoil it!

Got a replacement Speedo Drive today, ready to install tomorrow...if its not raining outside!

Funny how you get to know exactly were the throttle should be at limits ... if you got pulled over , yud surely be able to say 'Well officer', just heading into the shop to get a new part .. on return trip yud be able to hand him the part and say excuse me sir "Don't spose you could give me a hand with this " :P

Enjoy the rides!.... :D ...!

Its late February in England now, miserable, wet weather, so I'm eagerly waiting for Warm Spring to get me; "out-and-about" again on two wheels!

I'll tell you what....

..I do love the "simplicity" of the old "Flat Head", side-valve, Harleys....

750cc, and low compression, makes them slightly easier to kick-start... ...!

Example:...>>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCcJ1L7Mq9E

Take note, and learn the technique....(or break you leg!)....

.... ....!

Paul.... B-) ...!

Hand gear-change, Foot Clutch (Suicide Clutch), Manual Advance/Retard Ignition, 6V Lighting, 2-wheels and a Prayer.... :wink2: ... ....!
