Thanks Ian .I really have no clue about making a skin, so hoping beyond all hope someone will take a look.No replies to my post over at Ed as yet though

Maybe if I could put some photos in the post , so far my efforts to do that have not worked.

I am surprised with today's combat sim's there option to paint the aircraft , own personal aircraft were even after a mission to paint your 'Kills' ground or air, that would really add to the fun.

Totally different platform, that is the A2A paint, they are designed with paint kit idea and same with most standard flight simulation platforms, I honestly have not heard of a DCS paint , even with me I don't use paint kits , I do have the DSC world installed with the limited defaults, I'll have to have a look to see if it is possible to paint the aircraft.

I have just noticed that there is a generic day fighter skin available here https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=179454.This could be the answer to my request.AL Deere's MkIX is just like this. All it needs is the markings. Not sure how you go about this.Jocko 417 talks about entering different codes and such but its all greek to me.

Yes its a start alright ,unfortunately entering Sqn. codes is not goer in DCS mission editor at the mo. Hopefully that may change.

If painting thru a mission editor , I would doubt that will work, you access to the aircraft template and even then have a cfg tool .
