What sim are you using, Bruce? EDIT: sorry just saw that you've said P3D v3.
Bruce, the path isn't correct, it needs to point to the INSTALLED program, not the installer. It isn't a Godzone entry that needs to be added, but the AutogenConfigurationMerger install. See my post above for the 'default' path, most would have this provided their OS drive is C:\, and they didn't select a different location on install.
You won't actually see a warning during the initial install, as the simulator won't be running then, so the warning won't apply. (It appeared during the beta, but the included version only displays it if you have already started the simulator and changes are required.) Provided you let the VLC Libraries installer update, then ACMT should be installed properly.
It would be great to get to the bottom of this issue, as it didn't show up during the beta testing. So please let me know if your install has anything happen which might have been unusual, such as an interruption, and that the steps outlined in the manual actually occurred -- the installer should run the VLC Libraries installer, which in turn runs the ACMT installer, then exits, then the SODE installer should run.
The only time that this sort of thing should happen is if the user didn't allow the installer to edit the scenery.cfg file, but this doesn't relate to P3D v3, as it doesn't work the same way, there's no editing involved, P3D v3 is just called temporarily to add the scenery entries using it's own built-in 'hooks'.
So it seems most likely that the ACMT install is not happening for everyone during the VLC Libraries install. The ACMT beta appeared to have an issue with P3D v3, which is why I asked what sim you use. Eddy uses P3D v3, so it helps to know these things.
