Just Flight releases Meteor F8/FR9

Postby scaber » Fri Oct 07, 2016 8:05 am

Now this is one that I like - maybe because it's more my era (actually I'm a bit younger but it was the sort of aircraft we saw in books when I was a young whippersnapper!

A couple of quick snaps and a virtual tour link for you to enjoy:

Good to see I'm not alone in my susceptibility to temptation where these things are concerned!

Flying and screening it now Greg .
I have to be honest , I cant comment on the dynamics , as I've never flown one , and I doubt anyone on this forum has .... so that becomes incidental.
From a visual point of view, I was a little disappointed .
As I've said before , I love JF , and god knows they have a good part of my bank account ...but this is (again) a little cartoonish , the textures just seem.... flat .

I'm sure I will grow to love it .... but in the meantime, I'm a little underwhelmed .

Some interesting discussion at CBFS from people who have actually seen one:

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Well, many years ago I had a Dinky Toys one.
Hope to see yez all at Wanaka 2017. Need to know a posh gaff in Blenheim, handy for the train to the airfield - any suggestions?
