Looking outside the mister 'W' is looking to be a bright and sunny one here .. best thing is ya know something is happening, bud on the trees only mean one thing, bit like a submarine at periscope depth coming to the surface. B-)

Just popped down to the Royal of Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire today, armed with a 1-1/2" hole saw, to one of my lovely Lad's place/workshop, for him to drill out both of the baffles on my silencers (mufflers*) to make it sound a little bit like a Harley Flathead at a slow tick over, together with usual V-twin shake experience....

...in my dreams... ...!

At least the increase in noise volume warns other nearby motorists that I am around now!.... :D ....!

Paul.... :D ...!

Latest trip around the Highways and Byways of rural Herefordshire on a sunny Thursday 1st of September 2016...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g1jXGZyI2B8

A nice little hour-long ride along familiar County roads.

You will see lots of hedges along the way....

Tunnels of hedges!

Slight change in the weather!

Today was quite warm; 23*C (74*F), so I donned my Levi waistcoat over my short-sleeved tee-shirt for a change, instead of my usual leather jacket, and it was a real joy to go for a ride, free from all the usual motorcycle clothing clutter!
Obviously, crash helmets are compulsory, and I always wear my gloves, but I must admit, I chickened-out when it came to wearing my Bermuda Shorts and Sandals....
...that only works in the heat of Southern California (Santa Monica)... :) ...!

I video recorded my hour-long journey around the countryside, together with text narration, accompanied by the new sound of my exhaust pipes, devoid of their silencer (muffler) internals, in a vain attempt to make my Honda Rebel twin sound like a 1938 Harley Davidson Knucklehead vee-twin!!
....(in my dreams).... ....!

Tomorrow I will upload the video to You-Tube for viewing, this time, in H. D. 1,080 resolution, (and Dolby 3D surround sound?.... ;) ....), so it will take a few hours to upload and process on my slow Internet speed!

Watch this space tomorrow!

Paul.... :D ....!

Here she is! 2013 Suzuki Inazuma GW250.

Had her for about one week now. Great bike! Already been to Matamata (over the Kaimais), Wahi Beach and Te Puke so far. Still learning how to downshift smoothly which I keep stuffing up at the moment lol.

A wonderful little bike, Eddy!

Congrats!

She looks a real dream!

Don't take any notice of High Speed Ian, and his "knee-down" antics!.... :o .... ....!

He is used to melting the rear tyre on his old 1982 Honda CB 900F!..... ....!

You just take it steady, learn all you need to know about bike riding, take your time, ride with care, and enjoy every one of your tours....I do!

It takes a little while to get used to a new bike, and its controls, etc!

Observation of everything around you is the trick to riding safe on a Motorbike!

Its fun when you are doing it right!

Take care, Eddy!

Tips:
Don't apply your front brake when turning.
Always; "Go where your are looking"...... NOT; "Look where you are going"! .....(Turn your head, and look in the direction where you want to go. The bike will follow you!).

Paul..... :D ....!

P.S,... Have you given her a name yet?..... ....!

...... :o .....!

I recorded yesterday's 1-hour video tour of Herefordshire at 1,080 resolution, in High Definition (HD) yesterday....

...and it looks like its going to take WEEKS to upload to You-Tube, at my internet speed!

I suspect that; "HD", "Hi-Res" stuff takes a lot longer to process!

Most of my other videos are recorded at 780 resolution, 30 FPS.

Patience is a virtue!... ...!

10-20 minute videos don't take too long to process on You Tube, but anything longer, takes many hours and hours to upload to You-Tube!
I need to go away on holiday while its processing!

Yesterday I finally gave up trying to upload my latest one-hour countryside trip to You-Tube at a resolution of 1,080 in High Density (HD).

I calculated it would take nearly 3 days to upload the full video at my copper-wire upload speed!.... ....!

Cancelled the upload at 25%....life is far too short!.... ...!

Re-uploading it again today at a resolution of 1,080.....and NO HD!

Its processing slightly faster now.

See how it goes..... My previous videos have been recorded at 720 resolution 30FPS.
They process reasonably fast.... ..... but the scenery is not as clear as it is at 1,080 resolution!

Looks like "High Density" uploading and processing on You-Tube is a definite NO-NO!.... :o .... :o ....!

(I may try a short, 5-10 minute video in 1,080 HD sometime, just to see the difference).... ...!

Paul....uploading....again.... :sleepy: ....!

And here it is, finally...>>>

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhjM-XzOrQ0

It was recorded on my SJ Cam 4000 camera at 1080P, but You-Tube appear to have lowered the resolution automatically to 420P during their processing, which always makes the foliage look blurred at a distance... ....!

...but, at least, it uploads quicker.

My original Video, before uploading to You-Tube, and recorded at 1080P, 30FPS, is much smoother and clearer!

More experimenting with the various options required... ;) ...!

Anyhow....

...enjoy my shirt-sleeved Tour!.... :D ....!

Paul.... ...!
