Surprisingly I have had no issues whatever with WIN10, using it as a work machine.
I even went for a subscription to Office 365, whatever that is, for a paltry $10/month.
It updates itself to the latest flavour, too.
I have given myself to Microsoft.

Luckily I also have a good old rock-solid WIN XP flightsim box and a sim that works: FS2004.

(And also encourages me to examine more frequently the entries in my Oxford English Dictionary).

I must have done something magic in my; "Win 8.1 Administrator Settings", 'cos I don't remember being reminded/encouraged/forced to, install Win 10... :nahnah: ...!

Hi Ian, for all those people trying to come to terms with the decision to upgrade or clean install Win 10 I suggest the following. Go and view the new videos on Win 10 upgrade and Win 10 clean install at https://www.moviestudiozen.com/
This is a video editing website and I have had many communications with Derek over the years and his free tutorials are second to none. I wish I had seen those when I built my current Win 10 computer.

Hi Eagleeye, have it half pie sorted now, but its not good when a OS decides to change specific settings in art programs when one has not asked for and especially when one has promised a job by the end of the day, It was fortunate it run into a weekend were I got extra time for the Christchurch company which may have given extra work, I still have not heard back.

Yeah! the car decides drive on the wrong side off the road or decides to drive in reverse all because of an automatic software update.
