You could probably put it in the Lake lol theres going to be a map of the Straits of Hormuz later so it might be better off there. BTW there is also a TU22M3 in the works as a DCS type addon not FC3 type. :plane:

DCS is the most complex with almost every button modeled and realistic flight model, FC3 is simpler and uses keyboard only not mouse and has in some cases a less detailed flight model.

SUBS .. with me it would have to be a DCS .. think the FC3's would have to take a walk, in saying that I'm still needed to get up on the starter blocks, It seriously dose look like a lotta fun !

I'm very surprised the chap was not using or least to learn he dose not have rudder peddles , I thought helicopter sim that would be a primary.

You couldn't fly like that without rudder pedals, where does it say he is not using pedals?

Here's one for the DCS chappies... I believe they switched to DCS because of the flight fidelity.
ABsolutely jaw-dropping, given the limited situational awareness in the sim.

That is quite amazing formation, that is done so Very very well B-) , IR Tracker would be the requirement as, doing this with the precision here is mind boggling.

Wow awesome flying by the Virtual Red Arrows, its good to see that addon used like that since the Hawk and L39 are both used for formation flying by some Virtual aerobatics teams.

These guys, and also the Breitling RC formation aerobatic crowd, make you doubt that we are all the same species.

DCS: Spitfire LF Mk.IX

Adjustment to the flight model of the Spitfire LF Mk.IX aircraft continue. As of late, most of our testing and refinements have focused on airframe, engine and propeller parameters in references to actual tests of the World War II aircraft at our disposal at The Fighter Collection. The flight tests carried out in the DCS World have shown that the Spitfire LF Mk.IX is a very easy and predictable aircraft to fly. An accurately implemented pneumatic system of the aircraft used for the brake and flap systems is particularly interesting. Earlier DCS World War II aircraft have not used such a system. Pilots of the DCS: Spitfire LF Mk.IX will be able to feel all the peculiarities of the pneumatics while taxiing and landing the aircraft.

A second Spitfire is in development by VEAO

Supermarine Spitfire Mk XIV – 2016

So it is exciting times for people into Spitfires.

What you need is a really good Hotas with a decent sized throttle such as a Cougar with decent range plus a trakir and lots of practice to be good enough to make it into a team like VRA these teams every year have try outs and often people will have a go and if you are good enough you will get picked but it takes a weekly almost daily level of dedication to remain in such teams. Back in the early days VRA used to fly an F-15C pit on a Hawk 3d model while Virtual Blue Angels used Su33 pit on a F/A-18C external model. And its from this that some VEAOs crew got into making the Hawk addon.

With all that about the F-5 which was a possible candidate for before the A-4s were chosen, I wonder how long it would before DCS approach's DRAKEN for maybe a DCS KAHU Skyhawk ? that would a very serious contender for this program/platform.
