The little sister of the Grumman Goose is in the making at Flysimware Simulation

It may be a good aircraft to fly VFR in New Zealand? Are there ever aircraft of this type in NZ?

Yes they were flown by Sea Bee Air, Mt Cook Airlines and Tourist Air travel all had NZ registered Grumman G44 Widgeons.

The Joe Binka model should still be on avsim, and there is a NZ paint for it as ZK-AVM, of Amphibian Airways, done by Dorian Davis. I have it in my FS9 and it is not bad at all for a 2006 creation. Unfortunately not all the textures work in FSX, and this causes a big hole in the side of the forward fuselage, below the cockpit.
Good to see a new one under way

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

Fine. Today... after a long abstinence from flying in NZ, I have bought the subscription of Robin´s VFR-scenerys. Now it is time,to find enough interesting aircraft for this...
