Yep... that's Pete's Stearman in the background, we flew on the DC-3 from Ardmore (above) to Tauranga for the airshow a year or three ago. They steered it by means of a rather large handheld GPS unit...

You mean the ole Garmin 695? Not quite handheld but does rather supersede the rest of the flight deck in terms of technological complexity.

That's not the Stearman (although he may have flown it) Pete usually flys...it is this one (there are three in Tauranga) :

I would say you are at approx 38'51.15.00" S 175'26.10.00" E
