... ... ... ...!

I love watching the groups of Harley Lads and Lasses cruising the magnificent scenery in the South-Western USA, on You-Tube!

Perfect for long distant travelling in comfort!

...that's why I would like a comfy Cruiser now, instead of/as well as my super-sports Rice-Burners!

...I need comfort in my old-age!.... ...!

Probably be cheaper to cruise around in the wind swept open cockpit of a Tiger Moth and see more of the countryside than down on the road :plane: :nahnah:

I love Kick-starters!.... ...!

No matter how flat the battery is on a cold Winter morning on the way to work, a couple of swift kicks will encourage the engine into life... :)...!

My Big Honda relies on its Battery only.... ...., but my little Yamaha RXS 100 never lets me down, with its Kick-starter!... ...!

Good exercise each morning... :wink2: ...!

Even the old motor-cars had a Starting Handle for desperate times in need!

Been there, had them all over the years, Ian....Brit and Jap, solo and side-car...

I just fancy something more cosy and comfortable to tour on, in my old age!

I enjoy gently touring the countryside now.

Been lucky to be alive for so long...don't want to risk it now on another high-speed Rice Burner!... :D ...!

Paul.... B-) ...!

I would dearly love a "newish" Yamaha XVS 250 Dragstar for my cruises around the Herefordshire/Gloucestershire countryside, but they are as rare as Hen's teeth, and quite expensive...

So a peek at "You Tube" shows a wealth of Honda CMX 250C Cruiser enthusiasts..... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_CMX250C ... :D ....

...especially in the 'States!

Small, Light, Cheap, and Cheerful!

Santa Monica Hills: Mulholland Drive/Laurel Canyon. Very familiar to me in the Flight Sim!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8yajY-Ysmwg

I wonder if they were popular in NZ and Aus?.... :wink2: ...!

Maybe a way to get one at a reasonable price?

Its not a proper Vee-twin, (its a vertical twin), but it at least it looks the part....(maybe/almost)..... :D ..!

I fancy a spot of; "Cruisin'"...in a legal, respectable, sort of way.... ... ... ...!

Paul...A Bike ride a day will keep the Doctor away...Trust me!.... :D ...!

Funny you look at your Honda CMX 250C, one of my early bikes was the CG 125, I should have kept it .. you simply could not kill it , just a simple reliable motorbike.

Its the start of August, and we are having some occasional "nice" weather... :groupwave: ....

So.... last Friday I wheeled out my trusty baby Yamaha RX-S 100, 2-stroke bundle of joy, attached my SJ Cam video camera to her, and took an hours trip around my local Herefordshire countryside...>>>

Warning: It is an hour long, and you may get flies in your eyes during the journey!

..and always wear a Crash-helmet... :wink2: ....

Paul.... B-) ...!

More Biking stuff to come... ;) ...!
