Ta for re-posting the Pic, Dean!

Fantastic news!....a new member of the Honourable Motorcycle Club!

You will now have a big grin on you face everywhere you ride now, and other folks will notice your enjoyment.....
...especially if you wear an open-face helmet..like mine... ...!

Motorcycling gives you a sense of enjoyment with its open-air freedom. Something you don't get, trapped in a 4-wheeled tin box!
...(Sorry Marty!).... :wink2: ...!

I've been riding various Motorbikes every day, for the past 65+ years, and I will continue to do so, come rain or shine, with a big grin on my face!

Paul.... :D ...!

You'll never get me up on one of them things - those small wheels are lethal. Great respect for Honda machinery, though.

The only thing that beats the open air of the motorbike is sitting in the wind swept cockpit of a trusty old Tiger moth

And the modern ones don't use total-loss oiling, like the Camel, or some Velocette models :P

...must agree with emfrat, re; the small wheels!

Many, many years ago I tried some of my Biker Chums Vespa and Lambretta Scooters, and I could never get used to the castor action of the small front wheel...rather like the wheels on a shopping trolley!
I much prefer wheel diameters of 17 Inch, like my Honda CB500 Twin; or better still, 18 inch diameter wheels like my little Yamaha bundle of joy!
My old British Bikes had wheels of 19 inch diameter!
Big wheels = less gyroscopic action and safer/more precise steering!

Whatever the wheel diameter, you can bet Dean will have loads of fun!

Nice line-up there Paul.

And yeah Mike I hear ya, it's only my commuter though, not for out of towning. And the rest of the package on the Grom is actually very good, decent brakes, suspension, ride height etc. Just yesterday I changed the OEM tires for some decent Michelin winter tires which have made a huge difference confidence wise. Oh and here are my other two bikes in the shed at the moment, its not often I have three at a time but I do at the moment.

..you said "Tires", Dean... ...!

..Its "Tyres".... ...!

Too much American stuff!

"Tire" is what I get just before bed-time!

My "Tyres" are 2.75 X 18 front, and 3.00 X 18 rear on my baby Yamaha...!

..sometimes I get "tired" of changing them!

For nostalgia, I like the old Knuckleheads, but the later Panheads were a big improvement....

Both lots of fun if leaping up and down on the kick-starter for hours, floats your boat!.... ... ...!
