That is a confirm, Blake aka 'Waka172' was hanging around the field with his two mini Hims - mes .. pointing out the fact that's only going to another few years and they are history, one you can do is ask and get a feel off just how small the helicopter is next time your down Christchurch, organize and request an under the ropes look.

Gonna miss these buggers trimming my hedges... (Where I live we are on the flightpath for the Air Force manoeuvres and the Iriquois, Hercs, 757's, Orions are ALWAYS buzzing the house at low alts on their way out over the harbour either doing drop or chute practice, or just circuit practise...)

They were as regular over Christchurch doing the old buzz approach into Wigram , as many as three was a weekly thing .. course the Historical base was closed down and gone the UHs.
