Aircraft control issue

Postby Nosecone » Sun Mar 01, 2015 2:51 pm

Hi All
I have a strange issue with fixed wing aircraft in fsx When I move my joystick in the virtual cockpit the yoke moves through its full movement but the ailerons and elevator barely move, the rubber works fine. It seems to occur when I first start my flight and takes ages to correct itself.
I have checked my joystick in the properties settings and everything is working as it should.

Are there drivers for your controls?

One quick check is unplug the control/joystick/yoke , delete or put your saved flights into a folder, defrag ..... then plug your controller back in.

You can also pop into FS, go to controllers and click cslibrate and recalibrate it

TAKE CARE: After hours of frustration trying to set up my CH Yoke/Pedals/Quad on a Win7 machine, I realised Win7 was remembering the previous occupant of a USB port after I unplugged it, instead of losing the info. So I got things like ailerons responding to rudder pedals, elevators working off the throttle (that was fun - TOGA power = full down elevator) and the yoke working the throttles.
USB was meant to be hot-swappable, after USB1.0 that seemed to disappear.

Hi Guys
Thanks for the reply's It seem to related to Deans FU24 954 for some strange reason. I have the revised version for of the FU24 package for FSX acceleration and sp2. When a switch to another a default aircraft all seem fine go back to the fletcher things seem fine but it goes back to the control surfaces not moving much
I know the hoppers full which is default but with flap and at 60 to 80 knots she just lifts off but wont climb, with full power and pulling back she just stalls

Ok just noticed that the trim wheel In the VC is moving on its own and is for some reason trimming nose down ?
