Many airlines have a singleton painted in a retro scheme, why not ANZ?

Well, AJ Meleisea has done some possibles:

I think the NAC livery suits the 'Bus - doesn't it look like an early Douglas Aircraft nose with that pinstripe?
The 787 looks all the more like a Comet!

Not so much the T.E.A.L paint but the 1980s Air New Zealand really dose suit the 787 cool.gif

wow those are cool.....actually my favourite is the Teal 787..and you are right the A320 does give the impression to have some Douglas in it with the NAC scheme.

Nice retro paints of Air NZ and it's ancestors, really took me back to the 1960's in which I wasn't born back then, but were the golden ages of NAC and Air NZ.

Love ALL of those paints, Air NZ needs a retro paint on their new aircraft to celebrate it's 75th anniversary of it's formation as TEAL.

Magic stuff Charl , love them all. Theres something to said about a pinstripe or two.
Look at Singapore Airlines for example ... tried and true.

Quite neat.
And a 787 with not only a DC8 colour scheme but also a DC8 registration

Little and the pity the lets get 'Vogue' , the old cheat lines and paints really defined an airline .. the new current was fresh when first shown , but hells I'm already bored with it .. It should have been a mixture with the traditional colours ... keeping some blues and greens in with the mix.
