Hi all
When changing the 3d cockpit zoom with the minus and plus button is there anway to get it to move incrementally. I hear 0.31 is about right, can you change the setting manually by adding the value to a file in flightsim if so what file do you make the change in

cheers

You also have the four primary keyboard keys to move in/out - up/down - side ways left/right .... using the Backspace - Enter - Shift - Ctrl keys

Ctrl + Shift + Backspace to move left -- Ctrl + Shift + Enter to move to the Right for example

Shift + Backspace to move down -- Shift + Enter to move up in the cockpit

Ctlr + Enter to move back -- Ctrl + Backspace to move forward

If you want your flight to always start with your preferred zoom level you could try one of these methods. However, if you use TrackIR or something similar that would possible interfere with this to some extent depending on whether you manage to sit in the same position each time!

Load your default flight, and then set the zoom to you preferred zoom using Shift and +/-, then re-save the flight.

Another way could be to open the default.FLT file for your default flight with notepad (and/or any other saved flights) and edit the zoom value under the [Camera.1.2] section to the value you prefer. On my system these files are found at:

D:\Users\greg\Documents\Flight Simulator X Files
