Looks like they removed the thread over there. Apparently identifying issues and bugs with models over there (created by active SOH users) is looked down upon by both the SOH staff and apparently the author.

In other news....I purchased the Xtreme Prototypes Learjet earlier today (rather than this one) and have been thoroughly enjoying it!

Sadly, a few FS developers are only a bunch of amateurs that they don't know how to run a business. online reputation, commercial attitude, marketing and Quality orientation.
customer's feedback is priceless.

P.S. Sean, Can you post a few screenshots of the Xtreme Learjet in the Screenshot forum please?
P.S.2 heheheh 'Ctrl+E crowd'...It's a global phenomenon.

I'll post a few shots in the screenshot forum in a couple hours.

EDIT: Posted some shots in that section of the forum featuring a couple of default liveries for the Lear 24, cockpit shots, and the Lear 28.

EDIT 2: Also posted a short flight screenshot summary showcasing one addon livery.

This is rather a sweeping statement.
True, there are some products from Developers we have all learned to stear clear of - but by implication you have inadvertently included the Developer of this product.. I have several of Bill's models, the best of which are the Piper, the Kodiak and the Avelina . These are all very fine models.

I will be purchasing the learjet once I have cleared my latest Credit card account

I wouldn't be so berating of Bill ... whilst his models aren't usually my cup of tea... his support is very good. He went out of the way to help me when had some issues installing one if his models.

You didn't understand what I said.

One thing is the product and other thing is online reputation, commercial attitude, marketing and Quality orientation.

I never said that Bill's products are bad, never.

I said that Bill need to care about online reputation, commercial attitude, marketing and Quality orientation. He need to hear carefully all his customers, not only good opinions....He should hear and take note carefully about bad opinions , of his products from the 'rivet counters*', in order to improve his products, his business and his profits.

*As in SoH they called all person who think that the Lear have bugs.

I think for starters , the reputation of his products off the past has to say something , tho I do not own any .. that Lear looks pretty spicey to me .. End of the day < I really hate that saying before, someone know the aircraft and is tested , well not sure .. fact is it is an effort to get the model .. enjoy it and post with screens and send to the Bill .. them the issues can be addressed and fixed

Just a caution NZFF rule 3. Do not denigrate other parties; for example other forums, virtual airlines, addon developers or Microsoft;

Yeah, I failed again to explain what I am trying to say. hehehehe.

I only said that, some FS developers need more customer focus.
EIGHT QUALITY MANAGEMENT PRINCIPLES

If any reader don't understand what I am saying, please read the link provided for a first approach to Quality in Business (specifically, point 1, 6 and 8)

Thank you. winkyy.gif

Why I said this....Based on SeanTk's message. I read it too in SOH when the thread was online.

Was considering it, but the developer certainly seems to be arrogant and unwilling to fix bugs. Looks like he is instead resorting to mocking what he terms "nitpickers" rather than try to actually address shortcomings in his product which seem to have resulted from a lack of adequate research.[/quote]
And this is clearly a lack of customer focus.

I understood exactly what you where saying... and I find comparative examples from SOH website (of which I am also a forum member), to reinforce your argument, would be better left for those who belong to that forum to read becuase then the reader can understand the context better and read all the replies.

Without wishing to alienate you (in fact I agree with the principal), you initial post could have been phrased better to avoid any confusion because I am not looking at you in the eye..l. I am not able to see your face or expressions, so I must rely on what you type and interpret it accordingly to my understanding.. but unfortunately the way you worded you post, left a conflicting impression that the Designer of the Lear jet should be included in the same category as those you frown upon - whether that was you intent or not and thus my disagreement with your initial post.
