FTX compatible sale

Hey Rob does this compilation work with P3Dv2.3? Also is there an option to use this scenery in VLC?

Also as a heads up I had to hunt around on the windowlight website to find the subscription service. You might want to make this much more obvious as in perhaps an image or banner link.

Cheers

Nelson and Supercity have dual installers, the others are awaiting a future update... All the scenery works with VLC, it is just bundled together here for convenience -- note that there's the same compilation on sale without the FTX name.

Thanks for the heads-up about finding the subscription, the front-page banner is currently taking a break due to the FTX-compat sale... which was meant to end 31st August, but I'll run it until Sunday.

My plan was to make a smaller sub banner and run it under the sale banner, but since the sale banner is my first HTML image map for a loooong time, which took a while to remember how to do, and kept on breaking, I didn't want to mess with the page once it was working:)

Quick query there Rob when I look at that link, on the image of Supercity Auckland your ground textures appear green, mine always appears a weird shade of sorta brown?

Do you know if the others will install with the Estonia migration tool?

Since they use the registry path to find the sim, then I would assume that migration tools which fudge the registry would work fine. However I've never tried it.
I would recommend manually adding to the scenery library (covered in the manuals) if you get the option, though.

Thanks Rob,
I tried to post a note in the review section of the forum regarding Andy's review of your Hawkes Bay scenery but for some reason it will not post. Not sure whats wrong or if later it will end up as many duplicated posts.

AirDailyX manually approves all comments, so no doubt they'll sort out any duplicates:)

Good thing I didn't purchase the scenery as I already have it. Doh!
Everything except Tekapo works really well. If I try to start from or overfly the region it crashes to desktop.
I'm using Orbx NZSI. Any idea which of the files might be the offender? Trial and error I guess.

Excellent. Thanks for that. As the scenery is for FSX I thought that it must have some other incompatibility as opposed to an elevation issue so didn't even bother doing a search.
All sceneries now working great.
