Was also Air Albatross that was a origin base Nelson airline in the mid 1980s , not sure if there has been a paint for that one, I wait for the next sale maybe ...spent a little to much this last month.

I must admit that I am warming to this aircraft although the external texturing is not flash at all.
A real shame that the EHSI does not have a pop up panel then it would all be ok. Razbam are not interested it seems.
That GPS is hard work too.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

You mention Air Albatross Ian.I remember them flying skiers from Wellington into the grass strip at Lake Station(Nelson Lakes).

Ian to Ian , mate use to fly them ... panic went on when I heard the Air Albatross aircraft went down in the Tory channel , year so later when in the engineering base at Nelson which gave me a good chance to really check one out.

Of course that was a C402 an not a Metro.
Remember the 50-50-90 rule. Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right, there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong!

First news was an Air Albatross had gone down ... Media again rolleyes.gif we new Graham was flying within those hours , the aircraft was confirmed to the family till about 3.15 in the afternoon and half hour later G phoned , that day his parents were staying with us .
