Wellington trial flight

A place for 'real world' pilots and aviation enthusiasts to discuss their hobby

Went up today for my Christmas present from my parents, a trial flight around Wellington. Mum came up as well and enjoyed it...might have been because it was a cracker of a day/evening.

I think it had the effect the aero club wanted... now I seem to want to do it again. plane.gif

It is normal for it to have felt kind of surreal?

Almost like it didn't happen laugh.gif

Looks like you had better take mum with her camera on all your flights, she has taken some good photos on your trail flight.

I was glad she came, it was kind of hard to remeber to look out the window for too long.

You probably experienced some level of sensory overload, there's quite a few new things to take in at the beginning. Plenty of which FS can never replicate! winkyy.gif

That was the thing I loved doing was hiring a Cessna or Piper, having a spear seat generally invited peoples for their first, Rob was the third, mate Ruben was the last just before my little accident he still raves about it and he's in Brisbane doing the same for other .. Great!
