Subscription Download Issue

Hi Robman,
I received the link to the new subscription download page, it all works well except for when I go to download subscription 1, it interrupts at about 25%, I resume it and it only downloads 246mbs and says that its finished.
Have tried it a couple of times and it happens each time.
The download speed is awesome by the way.
Any suggestions Robin ?

Do you use a download manager? If not, I'd certainly recommend that you do.
Whether you try this or not, you would need to clear your browser cache, and delete the partial download, before you try again.
I am looking at the server configuration again, just in case I missed something.
Anyone else had a problem?

Got the mail thanks Rob , but haven't tried it yet , I'll try in the morning at let you know.

Just an update on this -- I've taken the site off-line for the moment, to give me time to link it to the Amazon Cloud, which should give a more reliable download. I don't know how this will affect download speeds, since the downloads won't be NZ-based, but it should at least make it workable this month.

This is the quickest solution, hopefully just an hour or two now, but maybe not a permanent fix.

I'll post on my site when/if things are ready to go.

EDIT: The download should now be working properly. If you've had problems downloading today, please make sure that you delete any partial downloads before restarting the download.

Rockin Rob just got my first download .... man , your site pumps it out , i was getting 1.50MB per second , not mbs .

Cheers, although the subscription site is hosted here in NZ, the downloads are actually served from an Amazon Simple Storage Service (S3) bucket in Sydney. If you'd told me on Friday morning that by the end of the day I'd be signed up to a cloud server and delivering downloads, I'd have said... "say, what?" I didn't even know what an Amazon bucket was last week. Not looking forward to the bill, though. Hopefully it'll be worth it in the end, I just need to sell a whole bunch of subscriptions:)
