NZMO Issues

An area to discuss scenery addons for virtual NZ

Postby ardypilot » Mon May 19, 2014 4:48 pm

Wondering if anyone can help me raise my sunken airfield at NZMO.

I had obviously tried to install Mikes NZMO with Orbx at some time in the past- however, his files are deactivated in my scenery library, and the 'FBP_FTX_NZSI_NZMO.bgl' file in the FTX_NZSI_05_SCENERY/Scenery directory is where it should be.

Any ideas? The runway is completely invisible at ground level if that makes any difference. Cheers!

I'm not sure if this applies to Mike's airport, but if disabling the scenery doesn't put the elevation back where it was, then check Scenery\World\Scenery for an elevation stub for NZMO -- there should be only one, in this case the FTX stub.

Above as Rob said BUT, if you own global FTX and also want to run the entire NZSI/NI and to show glitch's with Orbx switch's don't work ... I need the Global to fix the gable roof problem if doing autogen areas , so I need to run both and this proves this switch don't work ... You will see below I had to manually rename the file from - OFF - to BGL and then it kicks in and elevation correct themselves.

I now can fix my own issues - example : bottom of the screen

With my FTX_AU , I arranged things so the FTX Central switcher switched back in the same files it just switched out, if you see wot I mean.
No more yellow buildings, no more duff roofs. smile.gif

'Propliner' is actually short for 'Proper airliner, with big rumbly radials'

I did not touch any any AU scenery , just confirmed to run both Global to fix the the "duff" roofs, yellow building , "little corner shop dairies" I called them .

Following Andy problem , I mentioned working on Greymouth I mentioned to Doug was below level .. I renamed the file OFF to a BGL and Voila ... to confirm this Alexandria I had the same issue so all good news .
