These guys are tough nuts anyway , just to make it to the selection they have to be real good , and some gave up just hours into the course.
One guy , an E-9 (Sergeant Major) told these guys at the start "you will be thrown into an avalanche of chaos , stress , doubt , and a massive dose of ... what the f**k have i done .... the best day you will have here was yesterday " and on his shoulder were two lowviz very small tabs "Ranger" and "Airbourne" so i guess he knew what he was talking about.
I think about 30% of those who started made it to the end , and about 10% of them passed ..... my goodness , i need a nap , Im stuffed
In light of all the things going on in the world today , i think its good to know there are people out there who still hold up things like , honour , commitment , and loyalty.... silly old values we dont see much of these days on a national level.
Going to watch special forces (Marine sniper ) next .... will let you know if i make it
