Went over to the wing commanders place this afternoon with some additions for his archive . He's looking good , and Group Captain Greg (call me Scaber) was there as well , and although i was out ranked it was great visit.
The conversation ranged from the early life of Vincent Van Gough to the yet to arrive Milviz F-4 . A raid on TopRobs place was put through the initial stages , then the bar opened .... and the plan was put on hold.
But , i came away thinking , it would be great ( as talked about before) to have an NZFF get together some time this year. I know a lot of members have family and other commitments .... but maybe think about it.

Anyway .... it ended up ok , i got the group captain poured into a taxi and away home , the wing commander was fast asleep hugging his ice beer , so i locked the door and slipped away winkyy.gif
Good thing you didnt arrive Rob ..... it was messy tongue.gif
Just kidding ..... before i get "edited" .
By the way Scaber , sir, that was a nice sun frock you were wearing today ...... but it clashed a bit with the combat boots .

Sounds like a fun day lads. Hope you're all having a Berocca before bed smile.gif
So what's the proposal for the meetup? Sounds like ChCh is a logical destination given the A-Team being based in the vicinity? What time of year?

Thinking Wigram was an idea put forward before, we have another NZFF member 'Barf42' more commonly known as Barf working there week days ... I think spur of the moment stop inns is a tradition here.

Wasn't really that messy deeknow ..... just one beer each . I think we should put some thought into a gathering , its just trying to find out what time frame would suit most people.
Maybe just throw out a date .... with plenty of warning , and see what comes back. But it will be good do something.

Damn, I thought I was safe wearing that under my flight suit. What gave me away I wonder? - maybe I let something slip after too many beers???
