Road Vehicles Disappeared!

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Postby Redda03 » Sun Apr 13, 2014 3:32 pm

I have recently reinstalled FSX onto a Win7 OS and Road Vehicles were active after the install....and yes, SP1 and SP2 installed also.

I now have no road vehicles visible even with the Road Vehicle set to 100% in the Traffic Display window??

I shrug my shoulders with disbelief....surely there must be a simple solution????!!!

Cheers,

Bob R

Bob, now installed, simply do a repair install , with your FSX , wont take long, I have had that happen a couple times, one off those stupid MSFS things that happen.

Ian,

Many thanks for that recommendation.....I presume that a repair install can be completed with SP1 and SP2 installed??

Bob yes, won't or should not affect Acceleration, a quick test and if requires the latter program the repair is just as quick, ... I think a good example of how mucked up MSFS is is the recent MP issues I've had , perfectly fine - update comes thru and its screwed for some reason.

I did a "Repair" install but unfortunately I was unable to activate FSX after completion....FATAL Error Window.

I have had no other alternative but to do a full uninstall/reinstall and thankfully all is now sweet and road traffic is out there for the Easter rush!!

Cheers,
