KBT P-3 FSX RNZAF Grey Repaint- new

Discuss aircraft addons and repaints for Flight Simulator here

Postby Adrian Brausch » Thu Feb 27, 2014 12:16 am

Hi fella's I did a fairly quick repaint of KBT's latest v3.1 P-3C into RNZAF Low Vis Grey scheme,..this is a new repaint not a rehashed rehash hah,..based on their USN Low Vis scheme so has all the panel lines ..details and such. I am bound to have missed something so feel free to comment biggrin.gif . File Link to my Skydrive where you can get it at the end of the screenshots...sorry the last few are a bit grainy I use snapshot into JPG,..you get the idea anyway..enjoy.

Link to Final Version of KBT Orion RNZAF Repaint (v3)

Overwrite previous repaint files when asked..

Enjoy,..

Great work Adrian clapping.gif. I had your P-3 Orion for FS2004 but to this day it's one of only two planes I've never had in FSX, the other being the Airtourer. I was very impressed with this new KBT release and with your repaint now added, it's as if things have come full circle.

There are two other excellent RNZAF liveries over at Sim-Outhouse for anyone interested.

Thanks,
Ade

hah thanks Ade,..my P-3 actually still works in FSX except for funny prop disks like any port over,..but yea KBT have by the looks of completely remade most things..fuselage looks better shaped..nose looks better too and the thing that annoyed me was the landing gear which looks right now. Funnily,..KBT still use my original P-3 soundpack as well as some of my gauges lol. I'm ging to ask them to make a specific K model for the RNZAF P-3....we'll see ...

Ok ,..I have removed all of the Alpha shine so any shine left is solely the models material shine (which could do with dulling down),...also recoloured some little odd bits n pieces as well as the pod. Just incase anyone hasnt figured out how to drop the FLIR Pod down it is controlled by CTRL + W . Once again the link to the V2 repaint is after the screenshots,..enjoy.

Link to v3 and final version of RNZAF Repaint

Overwrite the previous files when asked.

Enjoy,

AB

I'm sure they'll consider that request. Beta models exist for several other variants already so I bet they'll be receptive especially as they're already using some of your work. Heh heh, I thought that soundpack sounded familiar laugh.gif
