How to increase payload weight

Hi all
I'm experimenting with a mission and I want to increase the payload that the Bell jet ranger can carry, what file and entry do I need change.

You have the default typical, drag-down form the menu bar in aircraft settings or other than that your thinking of the Cfg. file ?

I want to make the change to the aircraft cfg file

You'll need to edit the aircraft.cfg file. The 2 values to look for are:

max_gross_weight

and

empty_weight


You can either increase the max gross weight or decrease the empty weight to get more useful payload.

edited both but the helicopter now wont lift off , I assume that there is as limited to just how much weight you can add
