FSX on SSD and i7 3.4g Processor w 16 gb RAM

The place to ask for help or solve each others technical issues and discuss hardware

Postby OGG1E » Thu Jan 09, 2014 1:16 pm

I have recently upgraded my computer and are reloading all the FSX programs I have. I have added the FSX Expansion disk and some scenery disks.
My problem is that even with 16 gb of RAM and a i7 multicore 3.5 ghz processor, the screen graphics are 'jerky'
What's going on? Anyone have an ideas? I imagined it would run much smoother.

Hi Larry and Welcome to NZFF ,

A thought with your Jiggy Jaggys , copy these two lines into the bottom your FSX cfg. file and save and see how you will go from there for starters.

Hi Larry welcome to NZFF here is another one you might like to try http://www.venetubo.com/fsx.html
It tweaks you FSX config file for you.

Don't you mean [JOBSCHEDULER] Ian?

DOUG, does that site do any good? I don't fancy the "analize" bit.

Yes it does it uses your FSX.cfg to make a new FSX.cfg and the choice of download and using it and yes in most cases it improves your FPS by quite a bit
