Most impressive.Fast low pass with full noise close to the edge of my house.

Just to give an appreciation of Ian's home in terms of the airport and the approach, I took this from his balcony a few weeks ago. It also makes you realise that the runway is anything but flat in Queenstown. Admittedly it was with a biggish lens but being able to view everything from the windows as they approached on finals was just magic....

Well now Ian, I'm impressed with these shots. The trouble is that they are very similar to my best ones so have had to go back through and select some different ones from our photo outing. Hopefully these won't be the same as any others that you are planning to submit.

These bring back good memories of the occasion, so much that I suspect a return visit will be in order next year!

I like that last one Greg and the chopper against the' Remarks'(what the locals call the Remarkables.Dash8,I'm no photographer,just point and shoot on auto.Use a Canon 550D with 55-250mm lens.

Yes, I like those ones as well; I particularly like the runway reflection in the last one so you can see which runway is in use.

Awesome! dont write off Auto mode a lot of the time Auto is just as good as any other modes espcially at that time of day
